BY JEFF HALL As much as we resisted, IGN Cars editor Justin Kaehler finally convinced us that Date My Mom though a pretty badly scripted show, does have a sort of “good-pain” irresistibility to it. A way’s back, we saw the first gay episode (yes, gay boy dates potential young male dates’ moms and pics a boy based on the date with his mom). What a psychological mind-screw.

Today, we were graced with the lesbian episode. Even better. Gay girl dates other gay girls’ (presumably) straight moms, and picks a daughter based on the date. We enjoyed the ripples of awkward vibes throughout. What’s next?

They need to have a show called Date my Dad. Come on, it’ll never happen, but wouldn’t it be great? Imagine how uncomfortable that would be for the fathers and prospective young women alike. And then they could show the wives ‘n such behind the scenes, squirming in their seats. And the gay-show implications?! Oh, lordie, what a treat that would be.

Okay, enough wishing. Let’s get on with the feature. This should be sufficient to distract you from gay TV ideas for at least the rest of the day. Why? Because Angel Monroe is one hot babe. Rather than rant on and on about her tan features and trim-as-hell body, we’ll let the pictures do the talking. But first let’s learn a lil’ bit about Angel.

IGN Babes: So where do you call home?

Angel Monroe: Los Angeles, California! Sunny-ville..

IGN Babes: Where would you like to call home?

Monroe: I Love LA, it’s my dream home honestly.

IGN Babes: What made you want to be a model, and how did you get into it?

Well, I was 15 working the register at a grocery store and rang up a magazine with these two beautiful girls on the cover. I realized the magazine was based out of my town. I did everything I could to contact the editor, dressed to impress and went to the interview, won the gig, got the layout and bam! Been modeling ever since. Then I started entering competitions and started really thriving on the challenge of being #1.

IGN Babes: What are your biggest likes and dislikes about modeling?

I want to eat ice cream and pizza everyday, but I have to be disciplined. I love the end results! All the discipline pays off and you get pampered and get to look so beautiful.
IGN Babes: Have you had any particularly memorable experiences while on a modeling job? It could be good or bad…

Okay, one photographer (won’t mention names…*laughs*) thought it would look “cool” to pull the Mercedes I was shooting with on this “cool” looking pavement with this “cool” background… Only problem was it was the Federal Law Offices! You’re not even allowed to walk over the curb line, let alone drive the car over it! He thought it would only be a second. “No one will see.” But there were cameras! And, yeah, I’m in a bikini top and skirt looking like a hooker. Next thing I know, cop carseverywhere. Here come the cops… He was cuffed and I got a “no trespassing” warning. *laughs* Crazy, huh!

IGN Babes: Where else might we have seen you in the past?

Most recent… Cory Clark – Mr. American Idol. On TRL (in June), I was the lead girl in his video.

IGN Babes: What job would interest you besides modeling?

Performing – like Madonna. That’s my rush: being in the spotlight on a huge stage with screaming fans, dripping sweat, dancing, singing, being fun, energetic, powerful and sexy all at the same time.

IGN Babes: What are some of your hobbies?

Dance choreography, singing, writing, lifting weights, talking! Oh, and taking hot candle-lit bubble baths.

IGN Babes: What kind of music gets you fired up?

Cocky music with attitude – Britney, Janet, Eminem, Kid Rock…

IGN Babes: Any guilty pleasures in your life? C’mon, everybody has ’em…

Pizza and Ice cream, oh and I want to better than everyone…

IGN Babes: Nice. How about turn-ons? Turn-offs?

Turn ons: Fit physiques, muscle tone: gosh that’s sooo sexy! unreliable people are a turn-off.

IGN Babes: What is one thing about your personality that everyone should know?

I talk really fast and laugh way to much!

IGN Babes: Okay, that’s hilarious. Alright, as video games are what pays the bills here at IGN, we have to ask: are you into videogames at all?

Okay, laugh, but I love Donkey Kong! And Sega –
Sonic & Tales! PacMan and wrestling! I used to play with my
little brother back home in Florida.

IGN Babes: What do you think about guys that play video games?

I think its sexy! I want to play against them!

IGN Babes: Any other projects going on?

I shot a cell phone commercial for E!, I’m also in FHM magazine, and I was in the Raw 2005 TV Diva search for WWE.
